How do you think Gary Allan is doing today?
I really enjoy listening to Gary Allan. I would play his songs over and over. He is in my opinion one of the greatest Heartfelt singers of all time. Now that he lost his wife to a traggic incident. He's only more magical with his singing and lyrical expressions. I listened to him when his name was a nobody. I remember telling my closest friends all about him. Sounds silly. But his music has inspired my life. Sometimes sad, happy, cloudy, funny, and of course Hurt. He's been there. He sings it like we are all right there with him. And in some funny way we are. We all hurt. We all have moments of regret or remorse. Lovers and losers. Winners and sinners. We are all "TOUGH ALL OVER". That's why we are all here today.
I wish the best for Gary. He's got more fans today, than yesterday.. He is truly a remarkable person. I like his style of not wanting to change for anybody. He is who he is. And we are who we are. If I can relate to an individual- it would be Gary Allan.
He has a song that Garth Brooks wrote. It never got big on the radio. I can remember that song like no other. I once had the chance to ask him about the song. He was at a weekend concert here in Dallas a while ago. I wondered what he thought about it not getting promoted more. He said He liked the song a bunch and never could figure that out either. It was hard to believe that Garth Brooks wrote it. So I had to ask that also; He said it was a fact. I sat many of nights going through a bad period in my life with his album playing over and over. The song was "From Where I'm Sittin".
Kinda goes like this; From where I'm sitting I can See where I stand.
She's got her head on his shoulder.
And her heart in his hands.
(Basically, he's watching his love dance with someone else that she loves.)
And from where he was sitting He could see where he stands.
Well, we all have felt that! I could relate and by the way he sang the song, I knew he did to.
From that song all the way to any after that I listened to his passion for the emotion of what he was singing about. I have alot of respect for this man who is really singing about his emotions.
Not just about something out of the blue. He sings about things that he feels. I tend to listen for singers that are singing with the Heart. A good song is one that we can enjoy and relate. This guy has many of songs that Most all can relate and enjoy.
Mostly this is about my own personal giving back to Gary Allan. What he has given me through all the years. I had his songs all along the last 12 to 15 years of my life. It was as if I had somebody else next to me going through what I felt. Kinda like we are growing up together. He got famous and I got to get my life straightened out with his music all along the way. For instance, His song "Tough Little Boys". My son and all my kids mean the world to me. As for him as well. Thank you Gary for not giving up. I hope when you went through Hell, that you truly got your true self back. I went through Hell in my own way and it was hard to come back. I pray that you are back to being who you can be in this life. My kids are the reason that I'm here. You can truly relate to that also. So I just hope that your life is as good as it can be. Sorry for your tragedy and the loss.
By the way my son wasn't born when I started listening to your music. He's now eleven and he as well as the rest of my kids love listening to your music. They all think you are great. My four year old daughter knows most all of your songs by heart. She say's you are her favorite singer. Thanks again for being who you are. For your music helps the rest of us be who we are.
MAN TO MAN.
(and this is about my wife's part in your music)
When I listened to your song "Her Man." Along time ago I knew I needed to be right to her or somebody. At the time my wife now was my girlfriend back then. When I was going through the bad times. All I did was take. From her and everybody else. I grew up and got married to her eventually.
Well, I married my wife and all I am gonna be is Her Man. I played your song to her along time ago and it took many years to get it right. But it's getting better everyday.
I had been a wild catter and a go go get her. But once we married I would listen to that song playing in my head. I had mis adventures. And yeah I even had pictures. I was at times even more than I could stand.
So now all I do is give. Not only to her, but anyone that I can help.
My wife surely, Thanks You... And I Truly, Thank You..
And with as many fans that you have today- I'm sure they feel the same.
My son will probably play your music to his kids. So your life is one that has alot of meaning.
I hope your can come out of your pain. It was hard coming out of mine. If I lost my wife that way or in any way. I wouldn't be sure that I could carry on. So I hope GOD blesses you for Helping me so much. GOD has blessed my family. I pray that he does the same for yours.
And every one else.

What do you think about Cow Dung used to make Flooring?
Unearthing A New, Crappy Flooring Technology
Growing up in Wisconsin, I am acutely aware of the smell of cow. Specifically, of course, cow manure. I even pride myself on being able to smell the difference between cow, horse and pig as I’m driving through rural Wisconsin. That’s a rare talent.Would I ever want manure in my home – or let’s face it, anywhere I go? Unless it’s the state fair, no. But manure in buildings may become a reality – and it’s not as horrible as you think. According to this article in Wired magazine, researchers have figured out a way to make unused cow crap into fiberboard. Without any odor!Apparently, farmers have a surplus of cow dung, even after using it as field fertilizer. So instead of spending $200 per year per cow to handle the crap, why not just give it to someone who can make building materials out of it?It’s certainly a green concept, and according to the article, the processed and sterilized fiber in the manure interlocks better than wood when mixed with resin. It’s made similar to the wood-based cousin, by combining the fibers with a chemical resin and then heating it under pressure. Preliminary testing indicates that the finished product actually performs better than wood-based fiberboard. I, for one, support further research into this new material. With performance specs, big green angles and farmer advantages, everyone can find an aspect of this new material to give a crap about.
